I Write...

I write to empower...

I write to getaway...

I write to stay out prison...

I write to stay out of touble...

But sometimes I still get in trouble

I write because of a love for poetry

I write because of a conscious decision

It's almost like a religion to me

I write to uplift and get uplifted

Some say I am gifted

My pen and paper is on a mission

To reach... teach and touch everyone

That reads my poetry

I write to be optimistic

I no longer write inside the box

Or worry what others think

To keep me boxed in

I am bold enough to write beyond the rainbow

My pen and paper are the gold the leprechaun wants to hold

I can write the silver lining in most dark clouds

I can write a sunshine on a gloomy day

My heart and soul is exposed because my writing comes from within

From within I write:

My emotions

My thoughts

My feelings

My passions

My ideas

My life

My strengths

My fears

My beliefs

My anger

My relief

and my right of passage is complete

When I write...

My pen and paper are my bestest fiends to the end

They say the pen is mighter than the sword

So when I write

I write to mend and amend broken hearts

I write to give strength to someone to live through the Wordsfrommypen

And I will continue to write until my end
